Human Resources Generalist

You will work closely with the HR Director to develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization's goals.
Your responsibilities will encompass various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, policy implementation, and HR data analysis.
You will serve as a trusted resource for employees and management, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.
HR Strategy and Policy Development:
o Collaborate with the HR Director to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support organizational objectives.
o Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
o Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
o Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
o Utilize effective recruitment strategies and channels to attract top talent.
o Perform and document background checks and reference checks on all prospective employees.
o Creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulationsEmployee Relations and Performance Management:
o Advise and assist managers and employees on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent treatment.
o Assist in handling employee complaints, investigations, and disciplinary processes.
Benefits Administration and Compensation:
o Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
o Ensure accurate and timely benefits enrollment and administration.
o Collaborate with the HR Director on compensation and salary administration activities.
o Conduct salary benchmarking and analysis to support compensation decisions.
HR Data Management and Analysis:
o Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, utilizing HRIS and other HR systems.
o Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance records o Analyze HR data and generate reports on key HR metrics for management review.
o Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement based on HR data analysis.
Policy Implementation and Compliance:
o Support the HR Director in implementing and communicating HR policies and procedures.
o Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
o Monitor changes in HR laws and proactively update policies and practices as needed.
Employee Engagement and Development:
o Collaborate with the HR Director to develop and execute employee engagement initiatives.
o Assist in the design and delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
o Support employee recognition programs and initiatives.
Participates in professional development activities to keep current with trends and practices in HR and health care administration (conferences, journals).
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree in a human resource or business-related field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum one year of proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar HR role.

Work Environment:
Position is in a well-lit office environment.
May be exposed to contagious diseases and other patient-related conditions.
Occasional evening and weekend work.
Physical Requirements:
Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with a Human Resources Generalist which involves 90 percent sitting and 10 percent walking, standing, lifting up to 25 pounds and stooping.
